Allt y Golau is a Georgian stone walled farmhouse furnished and decorated to a very high standard, maintaining many of the original features. We are situated in an uplifting landscape with panoramic views over the Tywi Valley to the dramatic Black Mountain. Relax over a sumptuous breakfast that relies on home baking and locally sourced products. We have been presented with an award for the Best Farmhouse Breakfast in Wales and an AA Breakfast Award. Restore your spirits in the mature and tranquil gardens of approx two acres carpeted by snowdrops, Tenby daffodils and bluebells in the spring.

          Our accommodation, near Carmarthen, is ten minutes from the National Botanic Garden of Wales and near to the historic Aberglasney Gardens, and is ideally situated for visits to the gardens and castles of the Tywi valley - a land full of myths and legends, the world of Merlin, The Lady of the Lake at Llyn y Fan Fach, Twm Sion Cati and Hywel Dda. We are sorry but we do not have a family room and can't accept children under 12, also because we have livestock we can't accept dogs.
